Introducing the first ZNY Teachers Intensive! ❤️ 4 days and 24 hours dedicated to thinking about Brazilian Zouk from a teacher's perspective. This is not an intensive to learn advanced steps or new combinations. We won't be teaching you how to dance — that's what Zouk Needs You is for. Instead, we'll take a deeper look at the dance itself: its main characteristics, foundations, and what has remained throughout its evolution. From there, we'll explore how we turn that knowledge into teaching through methodology, didactics, exercise creation, class structure and lesson planning. The intensive will combine theoretical and practical classes, so we can discuss concepts, investigate them through movement, and work on how to apply them in a teaching environment. You don't need to be an experienced teacher to join.
